BIMHUIS AT HAARLEM JAZZ AND MORE

In the preamble to its 40th anniversary the Bimhuis is host for a day at the Harlem Jazz & More Festival. This evening is a preview to the anniversary year with three exciting concerts on the Nieuwe Kerksplein.
PROGRAMME:
6:00 PM KAPOK
A young band with a surprising line-up of horn, guitar and percussion that takes the middle between classical expanse, improvisation and catchy pop.
8:00 PM BATIK
In this dreamy trio of established musicians from the Dutch jazz instruments intertwine into dreamy sounds that appeal to the imagination.
10:00 PM BENJAMIN HERMAN TRIO & DANIEL VON PIEKARTZ
The strong trio of alto saxophonist Benjamin Herman interprets pieces from Fats Waller to Sly Stone with the talented singer and pianist Daniel von Piekartz.
