BILLY COBHAM/RENE ENGEL/NIPPY NOYA

Three masters of rhythm will form a dream combination on this Drums and Percussion evening. Billy Cobham played drums with Horace Silver and with Miles Davis in the late 1960s, including the album Bitches Brew. In the 1970s he became world famous with legendary jazz and rock group Mahavishnu Orchestra. In the same era percussionist Nippy Noya celebrated success with Dutch-Indonesian group Massada. The unique trio is rounded off by drummer René Engel, who played with Herman Brood, Mike Stern and many others.
