BILL CARROTHERS

The fact that Bill Carrothers prefers the American hinterlands to New York does not detract from the international acclaim he receives. The pianist has a passion for history and likes putting a contemporary spin on tunes from, say, the First World War or Paris in the 1920s. He has played with Dave Douglas and Bill Stewart, among others.
