BENJAMIN HERMAN TRIO

Sharply dressed and in tight command of his reed, Benjamin Herman is one
of today’s most remarkable and excellent Dutch saxophone players. He
has collaborated with everyone, from poets to rappers, from Candy Dulfer
to Misha Mengelberg, making him a versatile key figure on the current
Dutch music scene. His most edgy playing can be heard in his trio
performances. Tonight he will play with double bassist Ernst Glerum and
drummer Joost Patocka. ‘Herman is an alto saxophonist with a penchant
