Together with Anton Goudsmit, Ernst Glerum and Han Bennink, Benjamin Herman created the CD ‘The Itch’, the best jazz record of the year 2005 according to the Volkskrant. For his previous album ‘Heterogeneity’ he was awarded with an Edison. ‘He doesn’t seem to know any technical limitations, he has a beautiful sound and shows the ability to choose the right notes under all circumstances’, said the jury report.
