BATTLE OF THE BIG BANDS:

Cracking concert by two young Amsterdam big bands led by Peter Guidi, plus special guest the Jambone jazz ensemble from Newcastle, UK. In collaboration with Muziekschool Amsterdam.

Junior Jazz Unlimited and Jazz Focus Bigband are two young big bands of the jazz department of Muziekschool Amsterdam, which will perform at the Bimhuis under the inspiring leadership of Peter Guidi. Special guest on this cracking ‘battle of the big bands’ night is Jambone from Newcastle, UK, regionally established as the leading young jazz ensemble. Jambone regularly performs at among others Gateshead International Jazz Festival, Manchester Jazz Festival and Skye Jazz and Swing Festival.

The Bimhuis restaurant
is open prior to the concert from 6.30 till 8.30PM (reservations via
020-7882158). After the concert, the Bimhuis Café is open (free
entrance).
