Since ten years now, Baseline creates melodious, intimate and always swinging chamber jazz in various settings with influences from Brazilian styles, folk, classical and pop, carried by the joyful play of Hein van de Geyn. ‘The leader/bassist is a precise technician who solos with an almost poetic sense of melody’, is what Cadence wrote about him.
