Rotterdam based bands New Niks and Artvark SQ join forces once again. New Niks is the bassless quartet of Arend Niks, whose witty compositions bring to mind soundtrack themes, cartoons and the virtuoso exuberance of Frank Zappa and Raymond Scott. Saxophone quartet Artvark combines grooves with strong solos. ‘The bands fit together like oysters and champagne.
