ALESSANDRA’S CIRCUS

A kind of improvised new opera’ is how she calls it. The Italian vocalist Alessandra Patrucco draws her lyrics from her own, abstract, surrealistic stories and poems. Her musical approach is based on the long tradition of the classical and contemporary opera, circus and theatre music, pop songs and jazz. The leading men of the ICP with which she recorded the CD ‘Circus’ naturally agree with this point of view.
