The dazzling polyrhythm of the Belgian trio Aka Moon is inspired by the Aka pygmies and the complex rhythmic lines filled with time changes in the Indian talas. The fact that their music is still a feast of funk and swing is owed to the organic compositions of saxophonist Cassole and the excellent combined play amplified, this time, with turntable wizard DJ Grasshoppa and break dancer Ben.
