A NIGHT IN TEL AVIV:

A night full of Eastern- and Mediterranean-influenced jazz and dance, passionately led by three young musicians from the bustling metropolis Tel Aviv.

A Night in Tel Aviv evokes the atmosphere of the bustling nightlife in the Mediterranean metropolis that currently produces so many remarkable jazz musicians. Three rising stars storm the stage in a night full of music and dance. This is the second edition of A Night in Tel Aviv at the Bimhuis.

The evening opens with an exciting combination of music and dance by bassist Haggai Cohen-Milo and his band MakeSpeak. In the performance The Arrow of Time a male and a female dancer interact with the musicians. The evening continues with a solo set by pianist Nitai Hershkovits, known for his stint with the famous double bassist Avishai Cohen. The evening concludes with a rare phenomenon: a power trio led by a flutist. Hadar Noiberg mixes jazz and classical with Eastern and North-African grooves in a tight and energetic style with her band.

Realised with the support of Good Music Company & the Israelic Embassy in The Netherlands.

The Bimhuis restaurant is open prior to the concert from 6.30 til 8.00PM (reservations via 020-7882158). After the concert, the Bimhuis Café is open (free entrance).
