Every year, we award a composition assignment to an idiosyncratic composer whom we challenge to come up with new work. The composer is given complete freedom, and presents his/her/its composition in an autumn concert in our hall. On 3 November 2023, pianist Kaja Draksler presented her composition matter 100. Earlier, the BIMHUIS composition assignment was awarded to Martin Fondse (2022), Tineke Postma (2021) and Ben van Gelder (2019).
