Available Jelly bestaat 40 jaar: tijd voor feest met dit internationale gezelschap uit Amsterdam met o.a. oprichter en tubaïst Gregg Moore. ‘Beautifully quirky’ (Downtown Music Gallery).
Available Jelly ontstond uit de Great Salt Lake Mime Troupe, een reizend gezelschap Amerikaanse clowns, dansers, mimespelers en musici, waarvan de musici in Amsterdam bleven. 40 jaar later klinkt de muziek nog altijd even fris en speels: boeiende dansmuziek, sfeervolle ballads en jazz-achtige composities van de bandleden, met volop ruimte voor improvisatie.
Oprichter en tubaïst Gregg Moore, die al weer 15 jaar uit Nederland weg is, komt speciaal voor dit jubileum terug in de band, die verder bestaat uit zijn broer Michael Moore op klarinet en altsax, Eric Boeren op cornet, Wolter Wierbos op trombone en Michael Vatcher op slagwerk.
