THE FLATLANDS COLLECTIVE

Jorrit Dijkstra, die sinds 2002 in Boston woont, combineert zijn altsax met elektronica en speelt daarnaast analoge synthesizer en lyricon. In zijn groep Flatlands Collective verzamelt hij vijf vooraanstaande improvisatoren uit Chicago. Onlangs verscheen de tweede cd Maatjes. ‘This music has a lot of moving parts.
