JOHN LINDBERG QUARTET

John Lindberg is vooral bekend van zijn werk met Anthony Braxton en het String Trio of New York, maar maakte ook met eigen ensembles al ruim twintig platen. Zijn opvatting van componeren en improviseren kenschetst hij als ‘relaxed enthusiasm’. ‘One of John Lindberg’s most enduring distinctions is that he demonstrates how much having fun could -and should- be central to modern jazz dynamics.
