JOHN LAW’S ART OF SOUND TRIO

Het trio van John Law kruist eigentijdse en traditionele pianojazz op een toegankelijke, intelligente manier, met ruimte voor subtiele elektronische effecten. De Britse pianist Law is ‘an interesting and highly gifted maverick musician’ (Alfred Brendel). Vanaf 1986 speelde hij improvisatiemuziek met o.a. Louis Moholo. In zijn huidige project Art of Sound speelt hij afwisselend solo en in trio. ‘If there’s one jazz ensemble on the British scene that wows you with sheer technical brilliance, it’s surely this one’ (Telegraph).
