CURTIS STIGERS

Voormalig popidool Curtis Stigers doet tegenwoordig wat hem het beste ligt, namelijk optreden als jazzvocalist. Naast standards zingt hij minder bekende juweeltjes uit de pop, soul, folk en americana. Op zijn recente album Let’s Go Out Tonight zijn dat intieme songs van o.a. Bob Dylan, Richard Thompson en Eddie Floyd. ‘He’s a jazzer who lucked into pop stardom, which is why he can get under the skin of standards’ (The Guardian).
