Lyrical, melodic, and in the subdued pieces even whispery, or like velvet: this is how the trumpet sound of Eric Vloeimans has been described. It’s a perfect fit for the kaleidoscopic keys of Frank Woeste, as they have shown in their previous performances together on our stage. No they will be joined by drummer Franck Agulhon for a presentation of a new album with original repertoire where improvisation, and constant interaction intersect. 

On trumpet, Eric Vloeimans reveals an immediately recognizable sound, with which he can caress the ear but also ignite the room. Frank Woeste is a jazz pianist with a classical foundation. In his homeland France he’s known as a composer and arranger with a broad palette, who has worked with stars like Michel Portal en Ibrahim Maalouf. Also from France, drummer Franck Alguhon is respected not only for his technical skills, but also for his musicality and innovative approach. He has collaborated with other trumpet greats such as Tom Harrell and Enrico Rava.
