De Argentijnse pianist en componist Emilio Solla en de groep Afines, gevestigd in Barcelona, maken furore met een volstrekt natuurlijke fusie van tango en jazz. Dit jaar verscheen de cd Conversas (a Lado Del Agua), de opvolger van het succesvolle Sentido. ‘Every once in a while appears music of such accomplishment and beauty that it completely transcends boundaries of style or culture to become an instant classic.
