It’s clear that many Catalan jazz musicians like to come to The Netherlands and vice versa. The amount of Catalan students currently enrolled at Dutch conservatories remains high, which also leads to numerous projects where Catalan and Dutch musicians look to combine their skills and create new music. To keep this connection as alive as ever, we strive to give new collaborations between high quality Catalan and Dutch jazz musicians a stage to perform in our new serie Catalan Focus.
This concert and therefore this series is made possible by Jazz I Am and the Institut Ramon Llull, which strives to globally promote the Catalan language and culture.
