His colleague Reinier Baas sees the future in him: Teis Semey won the first prize in the 2014 edition of the Prinses Christina Concours and in 2017 the Keep an Eye Jazz Award in the category Best Arrangment. The classically trained Danish guitarist leads various bands from his habitat Amsterdam.
