For many years Tim Ries has been the main saxophonist for the Rolling Stones. During the recent Stones tour he recorded an album with 72 musicians on different continents. Brown Sugar, Angie, Miss You and other Stones classics served as points of departure. Alongside the four Stones members he collaborated with Eddie Palmieri, Bill Frisell and musicians from many different countries, including India, North-Africa and Japan. With the Metropole Orchestra Big Band, Ries will once again transform the Stones songbook into a feast of styles, grooves and rhythms.
