Drummer/producer with cult status, at home in both hard bop and fresh electronic beats, has collaborated with David Bowie and Brad Mehldau. Now he presents his acoustic band.

Mark Guiliana has acquired a cult following as a drummer at home in hard bop as well as new beats from hip-hop and electronic dance music. The American drummer paid his dues in the band of celebrated double bassist Avishai Cohen and in Mehliana, the electro/jazz duo with Brad Mehldau. He has collaborated with among others David Bowie, Gretchen Parlato and Meshell Ndegeocello. Now he presents his own music in his acoustic Mark Guiliana Jazz Quartet. This year sees the release of the band’s first album Family First.
