In his special end of the year show, cabaret performer Vincent Bijlo will look back on the year 2015 together with the Konrad Koselleck Big Band and singer Mariska Reijmerink.

The news hijacker, Charlie, Opstelten, James Last, fake politics, Syrian refugees, November 13 and many more other subjects will come up in the end of the year show of Vincent Bijlo, a cheerful spoken word and music journey through 2015, a year with a harsh tone, but with occasional loving and harmonic touches as well. Featuring vocalist Mariska Reijmerink, Bijlo’s muse, whose voice lends itself well for performing English poetry as well as jazz standards

Vincent Bijlo (1965) is a cabaret performer, writer and musician. Mariska Reijmerink (1967) is a singer and songwriter. The Konrad Koselleck is something else, continuously searching for challenging combinations of jazz, cabaret and many other areas. ‘Koselleck has a keen sense of atmosphere, he knows when to slow down or fire up the band… the conviction of an ecstatic big band is phenomenal’ (de Volkskrant).
