JOHN CLAYTON – THE MUSIC, THE HEART BEAT
Saturday11 April 2015

Double bassist and Grammy winner John Clayton leads the ensembles and big band of Conservatorium van Amsterdam on a journey into ’the beat’ en ‘the groove’.

John Clayton: ‘The ‘Beat’ moves your feet. You nod your head, you clap your hands, you feel the groove – but only when the beat is right. ‘The Music, The Heart: BEAT!’ is a program that will allow students to not only study the beat of music they love, but to create their own music with The Beat as the primary motivator and focus. It’s about moving the beat Ahead to Tomorrow.’

The Bimhuis restaurant is open prior to the concert from 6.30 til 8.30PM (reservations via 020-7882158). After the concert, the Bimhuis Café is open (free entrance).

For this concert the supplement for Bimcards is 6 Euro.
