Anyone who wants to experience her exhilarating guitar playing has been warned: after 2020 Corrie van Binsbergen will step down from the stage to dedicate herself to composing. Until then she will go all out with Playstation, her all-star band featuring eight singular Dutch musicians. In the early show, the band will play material from Tales Without Words, the concept album that was released in early 2017, with adaptations of compositions for its literary concerts. Layered music with a mysterious edge.
With bands like Corrie en de (Grote) Brokken, Corrie van Binsbergen has created something unique, a playground for illustrious names from pop, rock, jazz and contemporary music. They were joined by famous writers and poets for her successful literary concerts, which originated from the annual Brokkenbal during the Dutch Book Week.
