Sun Mi-Hong Quintet
The Netherlands
One of the most promising young jazz artists in The Netherlands. Sun-Mi Hong’s music balances between jazz, impressionism and the Korean tradition.

Kasia Pietrzko Trio
Warsaw, Poland
A sublime blend of harmonic imagination, lyricism and seemingly boundless creativity, the Kasia Pietrzko Trio hints at their Nordic Roots with echoes of EST. However, Pietrzko’s sound here is entirely her own, with heartfelt stories forged into beautiful soundscapes.
Xavi Torres
Tarragona, Spain
With his eponymous trio this Spanish pianist made a name for himself. Playing solo he channels his myriad influences, from Argentinian chacarera rhythms, to Mahler-inspired harmonies, into compositions and improvisations that balance each other effortlessly. Xavi Torres was a semi-finalst in the esteemed Thelonious Monk competititon in 2018.
