Singer-songwriter Andrew Bird, New Zealand singer/guitarist Neil Finn and Wilco-drummer Glenn Kotche are the headliners of Cross-linx, the indie-classical festival touring four cities in the Netherlands from February 25 till 28. In Amsterdam the festival will take place on Friday night at the Bimhuis and the Muziekgebouw.
Andrew Bird will present his new CD which will be released next spring. Especially for Cross-linx, Kotche and Finn will bring together the Unlimited Orchestra consisting of 12 members, under which indie-classical ensemble Lunatree and a selection of special guests. Other confirmed acts at Cross-linx are American percussion group Third Coast Percussion, On Fillmore, guitarist Aart Strootman and British talent Luke Deane, the German cultband The Notwist, the Canadian harp-phenomenon Emilie & Ogden, violin player Diamanda Dramm & the Dutch sound artist Yuri Landman.
