Composer and (viola) violinist Oene van Geel and 16 young musicians take you on an exciting musical journey through experimental jazz and warm-blooded folk music. This concert is the result of two days full of unexpected encounters and experimentation. The starting points have been determined, the outcomes uncertain. Ecstasy, alienation and contagious energy go hand in hand.

Oene van Geel is a musical adventurer. Influenced by jazz, Indian music, chamber music and free improvisation, he uses his virtuoso improvisational skills and his compositional talent for a wide variety of musical activities. He plays in various ensembles, received the VPRO Boy Edgar Prize in 2013 and has an impressive track record as a composer.
