BIMLAB is an improv series in the Bimhuis café with unexpected musical encounters. The curators for this edition are reeds player Ab Baars and guitarist Bram Stadhouders.

BIMLAB is an improv series in the Bimhuis café with unexpected musical encounters. Two curators are selected for every edition from the members of the Union of Dutch Improvisers (BIM), who were once the Bimhuis founders. The curators will invite musicians for an evening of short, adventurous sessions. Ab Baars and Bram Stadhouders are the curators for this edition.

Ab Baars, is an established musician in the international jazz and improvised music scene as a saxophone, clarinet and shakuhachi player and as a composer member of Duo Baars-Henneman, ICP Orchestra and Ab Baars Trio. He is also praised for his solo performances.

The Bimhuis restaurant is open prior to the concert from 6.30 til 8.30PM (reservations via 020-7882158). After the concert, the Bimhuis Café is open (free entrance).
