BASSDRUMBONE

This unique trio was founded in 1977 and due to the exceptional line up and combination of powerful personalities, still exists. In the 80’s they recorded some albums that can be viewed as classics, like ‘Right Down your Alley’ and ‘You Be’. After that, Anderson, Helias and Hemingway focused on their own groups and projects until, in the mid 90’s, they decided to go on tour again. How great this rarely performing trio still sounds can be heard on their CD ‘Hence the Reason’ (Enja), recorded live at the Bimhuis.
