In Spain they’re regarded as the ‘golden couple of flamenco’ and a great promise for the future: singer Antonio Reyes and guitarist Diego del Morao.

With a highly anticipated first album on the way, all eyes in the flamenco world are on singer Antonio Reyes and guitarist Diego del Morao, two young interpreters who are in the total command of the classical repertory of this old Spanish art form. This young duo could well become the successor to the great flamenco couples, legendary dream teams such as Camarón de la Isla with Paco de Lucía, or Enrique Morente with Manolo Sanlúcar.

The voice of Antonio Reyes is praised for its melodic echo, its whispering lamento and its bright timbre. And if that isn’t enough there’s rough edge to it that can touch the soul on a deep level.

Diego Del Morao is well-known for his collaborations with renowned musicians such as Diego el Cigala, José Mercé en Niña Pastori. Paco de Lucía saw Del Morao as the greatest talent of his generation.
