Groove and melody are key factors in the band of guitarist and world traveler Albare, whose fluent style takes cue from, among others, George Benson and Pat Matheny.

Guitarist Albert ‘Albare’ Dadon plays in the tradition of George Benson and Pat Metheny: fluently melodic on the one hand and playfully surprising on the other. Albare was born in Morocco, grew up in France and Israel and currently lives in Melbourne and New York. Influences from all these regions come together on his most recent album Only Human. ‘Albare has created a cohesive and enjoyable work with an upbeat, sundrenched aura’ (All About Jazz).
