tzara the machine large ensemble
venezuelan singer, songwriter and producer francisco garrido, under the pseudonym tzara the machine, writes music as a diary, a way of sorting through feelings such as shame, anger and depression. his melancholic, layered sound - inspired by björk, arca and animal collective, among others - combines imaginative melodies and harmonies with experimental production. together with a large ensemble, he creates an organic soundscape that remains intimate and vulnerable, despite the collective's no small amount of intensity.
